Amanda joined her first swim team at the age of 5, started teaching and coaching kids to swim at age 16, and has been a passionate swimmer ever since. After 10+ years working in the medical field as a Registered Nurse, Amanda has decided to follow her dreams, go back to teaching, and open Aquatotz swim academy. She believes that every family deserves peace of mind in and around the water.
Amanda trained at a state-of-the-art facility in Winter Garden, FL with Joy McGinty, an internationally recognized leader for her insight and dedication to the water safety of children and the cause of making Every Child a Swimmer.
A native buckeye, Amanda has been a Florida resident for 7+ years along with her husband and 3 daughters. A Columbia County resident since September 2020 she has decided to open up Aquatotz to help make her community a safer and happier place for water safety. It's been a work in progress for a while, but we're excited to announce that Aquatotz will be open for business Spring of 2022.
