The Swim-Float-Swim Method

At Aquatotz, we specialize in the Swim-Float-Swim method—a proven approach to teaching infants and toddlers essential water survival skills. This technique empowers children to navigate aquatic environments safely by mastering a sequence of movements: swimming a short distance, rolling onto their backs to float and breathe, and then resuming swimming until they reach safety.

For infants as young as 6 months, the focus is on developing the ability to hold their breath underwater, roll onto their backs, and float unassisted. As children grow and gain mobility, they learn to integrate these skills into a cohesive sequence, enhancing their confidence and competence in the water. Most children successfully complete the program in 4 to 6 weeks, depending on their age, comfort level, and consistency of attendance.

Our personalized, one-on-one lessons are tailored to each child’s developmental stage, ensuring they acquire these life-saving skills effectively. By emphasizing safety, confidence, and enjoyment, Aquatotz prepares your child for a lifetime of safe aquatic experiences.
